Kangoo boots were invented in Canada for the purpose of rehabilitation following injuries & surgery. They reduce the risk of limb injury, maximise energy input to output return, increase cardiovascular conditions and rehabilitate lower limbs. They are particularly suitable for this purpose, as the impact of running and jumping is significantly reduced, thereby minimising the strain on the joints, whilst encouraging a thorough workout. The concept has since been developed by a Swiss company who manufacture the modern Kangoo Jumps, which are currently being used for a variety of purposes and are one of the most versatile pieces of fitness equipment around.
